Where do you start when you haven't been here for so long? I guess you should take some small comfort in my absence. If I was writing a lot it would mean I had a lot of stress, a lot of free time, or both. As it is, my internet use at work is pretty heavily monitored, and I don't get on my home PC anywhere near as much as I'd like to. So I guess this is the natural result.
That enough excuses? My dog also ate my last blog entry if that helps too.
The job is going well. Well enough that I don't have much to say about it. It's fun, pays well, and doesn't require all that much work to be honest. It's allowed me to concentrate on other things in my life, which I am not used to but am very much enjoying. I'm able to work on restoring my credit, on keeping a current and up-to-date budget, on registering for the PE test, on making wedding vendor calls, on doing all of the day-to-day stuff I never had time for before.
Don't ask about the wedding. The date is still a nebulous mystery wrapped in an enigma, buried under a haystack in southwest Iowa. We have no idea. All we know it that the numbers don't add up to the date that we need. I'm sure future posts will adress this in detail.
I've really enjoyed this relatively cool spring. I hope it continues for as long as possible. Low humidity, temps in the 60's and 70's. I could handle this for a while. I want more than anything else to get out and really enjoy this summer. I meant to get my clubs out last week, but the drenching rain had other ideas. But I WILL get them out, along with my boat, now coming on it's 6th year of non-usage. At least one trip to King's Island too. You could say I have a summer to-do list. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
